This thesis is linked to my final year project on forests and the valorisation of their ecosystem services. This work allowed me to learn a lot about the world of forests, but also to meet, exchange and collaborate with many people, notably with forest experts, researchers at INRAE or designers working on projects related to the environment.
This work deals with the various current issues of the forest, whether economic, social or environmental. These topics are fed by different examples related to history, the perception of the forest, beliefs, but also the exploitation and management of the forest, as well as examples related to art and design that resonate and bring a new look to the forest.

There was also a lot of work on the layout, photography and image research to illustrate what was said and to create rhythm in the reading.
